SUMMARY
Deliver food products and supplies to campuses and help maintain inventory and supplies in Food Service warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Check all incoming warehouse items as to condition, conformity to specifications, brand, prices and quantity as stated on purchase order/invoice.
- Store warehouse items with attention to safety of personnel, properly rotate food inventory with regard to product date to avoid spoilage.
- Maintain the warehouse in clean and neat condition and all items orderly, level stacks so that either random or total inventories maybe performed.
- Fill warehouse orders from invoices and spreadsheets provided by the Supervisor.
- Deliver warehouse orders to campuses according to prescribed delivery schedules. Exercise great care in stacking, handling, and transporting so as to prevent damage or errors.
- Check in with manager at all receiving campuses and place orders in designated storage areas as will be directed.
- Check all deliveries against invoices.
- Maintain a constant perpetual visual inventory taking special note as to stock levels and promptly report any unexplained variations to the Director of Food Service.
- Perform with accuracy and accountability all routine and/or special inventories as assigned.
- Responsible for all assigned delivery and handling equipment routine maintenance and service; i.e, gas, oil, water, etc. Notify immediate supervisor as to maintenance and/or service required.
- Perform assigned tasks with a minimum of required supervision.
- Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by Supervisor/Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
Operate delivery truck, operate fork lift, mathematical skills, Basic computer knowledge (E-mail, Microsoft word)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Texas driver’s license
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
Ability to read supply requisitions and orders and perform basic arithmetic
Ability to operate light truck
